Direct answers about the sprint, pricing, platform architecture, and fit. If you do not see your question, request a briefing.

The Sprint

What is actually delivered at the end of 30 days?

You receive six concrete deliverables: a structured Operating Map, a Living SOP Manual, a Key-Person Dependency Map, the first Weekly Operator Brief, one live exception automation, and a 90-day priority roadmap.

How is this different from a fractional CFO or operations consultant?

We deliver a working operating system, not a deck of recommendations. Every sprint ends with documented workflows, a readable brief, and one deployed automation that you can use immediately.

Do we need to replace our ERP or accounting software?

No. We overlay intelligence on top of your existing stack. We capture what your systems cannot see: tribal knowledge, informal approvals, and exception handling.

What happens after the 30-day sprint?

You keep the operating layer: the Weekly Operator Brief, the documented workflows, and the exception agents. Most clients expand the automation scope in month two based on the priority roadmap.

Pricing & Engagement

How much does the sprint cost?

Typical pricing ranges from $12,000 to $25,000 depending on business complexity, workflow volume, and urgency. Scope, timeline, and handoff criteria are defined before kickoff.

Is there a retainer or long-term contract?

No. The first engagement is a fixed-scope sprint with no ongoing retainer required. If you choose to expand the operating layer afterward, we define that scope separately.

Who on your team actually does the work?

Senior transition operators lead every sprint. We do not hand you to junior analysts. The same operator who scopes the engagement reviews the deliverables.

Platform & Security

Do you need access to our software systems?

Yes, but read-only where possible. We integrate with your existing CRM, accounting software, and communication tools to build the Operating Graph without disrupting daily work.

Is our data used to train AI models?

No. You own your Operating Graph and operational data. We do not resell it, share it, or use it to train generalized models. For sensitive deployments, we can run on a private cloud instance.

Are the automations fully autonomous?

No. Our agents draft actions and flag exceptions for human review. Nothing ships to a customer or vendor without approval. We call this human-in-the-loop control.

Fit & Timing

What types of businesses are the best fit?

Operationally dense service businesses, field services, niche distribution, and specialty healthcare with $5M-$20M EBITDA and 15-100 employees. We work best when the business has already been acquired and the new owner needs immediate visibility.

What if the business is more than 100 days post-close?

We can still deploy, but the highest value is captured in the first 30-100 days when operating gaps are most visible and most fixable.

Do you work with search funds outside the United States?

Our current engagements are focused on U.S.-based acquisitions. If you have a specific international situation, contact us and we will evaluate fit directly.

Ready to Start the Sprint?

The fastest way to validate fit is a 15-minute briefing. We will answer your specific questions and send a shareable summary.
